Kinghorn Wildlife Watch - January

The image is of a Great Diving Beetle ( Dytiscus Marginalis), this was the first species found at the pond which is under going a major conservation effort.

Dr Robert has once again, been exploring the site recording and despite the rather blustery conditions a further 3 new records were discovered, taking the total to 1264 individual species.

As always we are greatly appreciative for the time and effort that Dr Robert commits into surveying and writing what are always an amazing read.
